I didn't take out fans or headlights
I was thinking that you should use the PVC primer. And now I'm wondering if you used the PVC primer on your first panel?
No, on the first panel I used Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter.
Nice job on the video! Lately I have been hitting my welded exhaust work on my own cars, with cold galvanizing spray. It has a nice clean look, and doesn't rust. I even did the welded parts of my 2014 F150 as soon as I got home from the exhaust shop from getting the Dynomax 3 inch exhaust installed. That was a year ago just about, and the welds still look gray and clean. Doesn't burn off either.
This is a great video thanks! Trying to make an adapter for my 69 triumph gt6+
The front shroud comes out in one piece like the metal piece and all its much easier to take it out together
All that work looks worth it , that b5 is a beaut.l have 72 myself and would like to paint it b5 or b3
Looks real good. I would love to know more about your door panels. Like your steps and materials you used. Nice ride!
Door panels are just thin plywood, covered gray vinyl from "JoAnn Fabrics". The top of the panel is a piece of angle aluminum painted to match. I'm looking for left an right window trim, but the prices I see are forcing me to make my own. I have plans make a more elaborate door panel, just waiting to complete the window trim moulding. Check out the playlist on this car, on my channel . Much Thanks, Wes

If you do not have or cannot tap into the bleeder valve, consider a radiator funnel kit (Carlyle 24680) .
What car is that? 72 cuda?
Yes, 72 Barracuda, owned it since it was new.
@@frankencoupeamazing, big respect. Im from europe.
What kind of glue are you useing
Nice job Frank! help me a lot!
Yahoo ! Lookin. Goood. My boy. Wes ! !
Hab ya got ta heat any ob it? probably pot metal, zinc and whatever else they find on the shop floor.
An now Biden will make ya change it to an electric car, boohoo F that sob
Use the gun from your cabinet, and get a 20lb propane rant, take off the valve. Drill a hole in the bottom for a fitting for some house 1/2 inch maybe . Go by the tanks Harbour fright has and fit it out like that. You can use playground sands from Lowes fry first in sun. You can make a cart for the tank put lawnwheels on it . Between a good compressor and this rig, sand outside with a vynal tarp as back drop. something like that, a guy I knew use to say. Is that it? Your gonna leave it that huh? Well OK it's your thingeee cheeeze, I though I'd taught him better. If that's how ya want it.....................hahahahaha
Got a rig like that. It's my compressor that's actually bad. I'm working on a replacement for it now. I'm making a cooler/water separator from a old fire extinguisher, maybe I'll do a video about that.
Thanks. Our 2000 LHS is going strong at 278k!! Had it 21 years.
Glad to see you are working on the original dashboard it's going to look good.
If anyone want a stiffening plates template on PDF i can sell it, you print it and use to cut on the metal sheet 14 gauge. We can use paypal or bank transfer (im in mexico) :D
😘 p̷r̷o̷m̷o̷s̷m̷
Who really, never mind
Great job on this and it sounds great as well. Keep it up and thanks for posting this video.
How better did it sound?
At idle it always had a great sound. during acceleration it always has a deep rumble. this just cured the monotonous "hum" it had at highway cruise speed.
Did this make it sound better?
Very informative. ThankYou! Getting ready to make a headliner for my 27T coupe
Would love to see the wiring on the backside
The new gauges wire up independent of the circuit board just as they would if you mounted them in a separate guage panel.
Awesome video....any updates on wiring it?
It won't get installed for quite some time. The car is an ongoing project. The original wiring harness has a round multi pin plug that will connect to the back of the guage panel. The new gauges are wired up independently, as they would be if mounted in a separate panel.
@@frankencoupe No problem. Thanks for the great video
Maybe they needed a spacer under the rubber to level the lid surface to the body on that conner. Or I wonder how many beers it took to do that job. LOL!!
Nice job. Looks great
Nice work. Great content. Thank you,EM.
Thanks for share Frank, greatings from Mexico.

Wese's wheels. or Wes'se. Wes's wheels
Ya done good, Wes. You could sell those things . Make one model like this for kids to pull each other. And another a little more functional with a 5hp engine, now that would be super little muscle machine. Be the Young macho man of the neighborhood. If they were made cheap enough, you could make some real cash. Just a though.
That is so cool! I like it.
What a mess , a good splicer wouldn't do stuff like that. No really. Like I said a good, well you know the rest.
Looks like a 73 Duster cluster in a 73 I bought from that Dodge/Plymouth dealer on Airline Blvd in Portsmouth. First new car I bought after going to work for the fone factory . On Gust lane.
Is this the same Cuda you drove back in the 70's. I remember you driving a green Cuda. Hey who's the old guy in your vieeo? Ooooppss don't look now but I think it's you. Good video Wow ya never moved that fast at the fone Company. In Fl we don't have a state inspection,

Gee that box looks kinda familiar, like we used to use at the fone company, a terminal was mounted inside. Naw it must be only simular looking. Cause this guy wouldn't have run off with one, right Wes. Man that saber saw plays ruff with the audio, man he can do some workin. Humm he never worked dat fas befo, yust know. And thank you. Ya say ya got it when it was new? It looks real good, I'll stop kidding around. will you leave it black or maybe a cherry red paint job.
I got a sand blaster; but wait your rich just either rent the tools or buy me. I'm sure your sons would appreciate inheriting them from good ole/old dad.
Plugging compound could be used and just maybe you could get some for free, maybe. Yah Ya dun real gud mine heir!
That ignition was like the switch and button that was standard on a truck my dad had. It was an International half ton body made in 1947, but had a large six cylinder from ton and a half International with a large rear axial from the same ton an a half. The rear tires was 16inch lock rims, and it had large over load leaf springs. The tires were 850x16 if I remember. The bed had been shortened to about six ft. It had been made to pull house trailers and most any thing else you might want. Sir, did you purchase this automobile new? From your old as appearance you look ad though your from another century, the19th century. Sir, is that a manhole platform board hiding behind some other questionable acquired material? It looks as though it was made by Washington, Clyde, that is. Not bad, not bad at all.
